Burghard Schloemann is a german composer, organist and church musician. Having studied with Johann Nepomuk David and Fernando Germani he worked as a church musician at the St. Johanniskirche in Halle/Westfalen. There he founded the Haller Bach-Tage and managed them as an artistic director for twenty years. Later he was a professor for music theory at the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik in Herford. His compositions are performed in concerts and broadcasted both in Germany and abroad.
